We handle the valuable property of our customers safely and reliably. Upon request from the customer we collect and deliver documents, magnetic tape, videotape, fixtures and fittings, etc. We independently developed an Internet Trunk Room System to provide inventory management and handle many types of requests over the Internet. Main facilities

Hanyu Archives No.1

The warehouse is equipped with a full-strength security system.

Full-strength security system
Security guards are on duty 24 hours a day, watching the premises. Around the outside of the compound is a three-meter-high fence, surrounded by infrared sensors. All shutter- and window-equipped gate entrances to the facility employ passive infrared detectors and other sensors. IC cards are used for entering and leaving the building for identity management as part of the full-strength security system.

Shuttle service provides quick collection and delivery
The warehouse is located just two kilometers from Tohoku Expressway's Hanyu Interchange, and a shuttle service runs directly to and from Heiwajima Archives in Tokyo. This allows for quick collection and delivery that differs little from having storage within the metropolitan district.

Distance from Tokyo avoids simultaneous damage
As the facility is approximately 60 kilometers from downtown Tokyo, if the city were hit by an earthquake, simultaneous damage would be avoided. A quake-resistant and fireproof structure and various anti-seismic devices further ensure safe storage.

Acquired ISO 27001* certification for Hanyu Archives No.1
* ISO 27001 is the only auditable international standard which defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls.

Hanyu Archives No.2

The warehouse is the most up-to-date warehouse dedicated for information record management, and started its operations in January 2012.

Disaster-resistant building to protect information assets from large-scale natural disasters etc.
The building has a quake-absorbing structure (laminated rubber system with lead plugs) to absorb seismic intensity and reduce tremors. And it is also equipped with an emergency generator to continuously supply electricity during power outage and a nitrogen gas fire extinguishing system to prevent damages to information assets using fire extinguishing agents.

Full-strength security system

The highest level of security system
Entry and exit are strictly controlled by biometrics authentication devices and IC cards. Entry/exit logs and monitoring images through surveillance cameras are integrated by the total security systems using networks. Different security levels are applied to respective areas both in the site and the building according to their purposes of use and the accesses to each area are under strict control.

Storage within optimized temperature and humidity zones
For secure and long-term storage, each type of information assets is stored within its appropriate temperature and humidity zone according to its nature and properties.

Multipurpose rooms
The building has not only storage areas but multipurpose rooms which can be leased for a certain period on a contract basis.

Heiwajima Archives

The warehouse is Japan's first trunk room built with a quake-absorbing structure.

Equipped with a seismic isolation device to withstand a major earthquake
In addition to an earthquake-resistant and fireproof structure, lessons were taken from the 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and a seismic isolation device (laminated rubber system) was installed to protect our customers' valuable property. The quake-absorbing structure is centered around a device that will absorb the force of an earthquake at the building's foundation where the building comes in contact with the ground, taking into consideration that the force of an earthquake moves from the ground to the foundation and then to the upper part of the building. This system is designed to protect the building and the items inside. According to confirmed test results, it will reduce vibration levels by 66% to 80%.

Full-strength security system

Optimized central air conditioning
Temperature and humidity are controlled to provide the optimum environment for important documents, magnetic tape, videotape, art, valuables, and other items.

Doubly safe security system
All doors are equipped with special locks and are covered by a surveillance camera and infrared sensors as part of a doubly safe security system. To protect the important items we have been commissioned to store, we also have halon gas fire extinguishing system in case of emergency.
