Health and Productivity Management Declaration
The Sumitomo Warehouse Group strives to realize its Corporate Philosophy: “We will provide earnest and timeless support for logistics functions as the social infrastructure, which is needed by all, while also working to create new services sought after by our customers and society.” To successfully put this philosophy into practice, nothing is more important than ensuring the physical and mental health of our employees.
We promote initiatives to maintain and improve employee health, while establishing healthy and supportive work environments where employees can thrive with a spirit of creativity. These initiatives are designed to ensure both the sustainable growth of the Group and enable us to make contributions to society.
Health and Productivity Management Structure
The Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd. operates a Safety and Quality Subcommittee under the Sustainability Committee, which is chaired by the President. This subcommittee plans health and productivity management initiatives for the Group, monitors the progress of the initiatives, and shares related information. The Safety and Quality Subcommittee’s activity plan is implemented after approval by the Sustainability Committee, and the details are reported to the Board of Directors. The progress of health and productivity management-related issues and targets is confirmed every quarter, and a report is made to the Sustainability Committee and the Board of Directors at least once a year, with management of health and productivity being carried out by receiving necessary instructions from the Board of Directors through the Sustainability Committee.
The Group’s organizations coordinate their efforts with occupational physicians, safety and health committees, health insurance associations, and labor unions to promote health and productivity management.

Initiatives to Promote Health and Productivity Management
Health maintenance and improvement
The following initiatives are being implemented to maintain and improve employee health.
