Green Bond

Sumitomo Warehouse and Group companies are engaged in a variety of initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and preserving the environment based on the awareness that conservation of the global environment is one of the most important tasks for business.
For example, in the process of promoting the growth strategy with a long-term perspective, we have replaced deteriorated warehouses with warehouses with advanced features, and updated facilities, etc. Funds necessary for introduction of more-environmental-conscious facilities and equipment is procured through issuance of a green bond.
By issuing green bond, the Company will promote the diversification of financing methods, in addition to reducing CO2 through the promotion of energy saving and the use of renewable energy, contributing to maintaining and improving the global environment including climate change.

3. Installation of solar power generation equipment on rooftops of warehouse facilities owned by our foreign subsidiaries.
