Quality Policy
The Sumitomo Warehouse Group contributes to society and earns customer trust and satisfaction by providing optimal solutions for logistics and real estate. In order to achieve this objective, we recognize that it is essential to establish internal controls and continuously make efforts to improve the quality of operations, and we will steadily reflect these efforts in our daily operations.
Management Systems for Quality Improvement
Safety and Quality Subcommittee under the Sustainability Committee formulates measures related to quality improvement of the Sumitomo Warehouse Group, checks the progress of measures and shares information.
Quality Management System (ISO9001)
Sumitomo Warehouse Group acquired ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for quality management systems, and strive to provide high quality logistics services that satisfy our customers.

Initiatives aimed at quality improvement
Sumitomo Warehouse has established activity plans for each department and business site, and is engaged in quality improvements through day-to-day operations in cooperation with partner companies entrusted with cargo handling and logistics processing, etc. in warehouses and ports. The responsible departments from head office also participate in quality improvement meetings periodically held in each branch office, working to improve and enhance work quality by taking steps such as sharing information on examples of near-miss incidents and establishing operational manuals, in addition to disseminating valuable-information found in the meetings throughout the company.
Examples of Initiatives with Customers
Distribution center share KPIs with customers and periodically hold feedback meetings in an effort to improve logistics quality. The knowledge obtained through activities with customers is spread across other business sites in order to raise the level of the Company as a whole.
