Adoption of photovoltaic systems

At Nanko East Warehouse, a photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof as an energy-saving measure.

About 300,000 kWh of electricity is expected to be generated annually, covering 10% of the electric power consumed by the warehouse. This amount, when converted into CO2, is equivalent to a reduction of about 96.6 tons per year (in crude oil equivalent: 4,330 cans [18-liter can] per year), which is a contribution equivalent to that made by a forest of 56.8 hectares (an area about 43.7 times as large as that of the ground of Hanshin Koshien Stadium).
